We're excited to share that we have a room block reserved at Playa Largo Resort & Spa, where we'll be staying and hosting both our ceremony and reception. If you'd like to stay where the festivities are happening, this is a great option! The Upper Keys (Key Largo, Tavernier, Islamorada, etc.) also offer a variety of accommodations to suit all budgets. You'll find everything from hotels and motels to Airbnbs and VRBOs. We recommend booking early, as the Keys are a popular destination in the spring and tend to fill up quickly.

Recommended: Fly into Miami International Airport

Miami International Airport (MIA) is 63 miles (about 1 hour) from Key Largo and is the closest airport to the Key Largo Area. Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) would be the next best option and is 87 miles from Key Largo.

Rental Car

Getting from the airport to Key Largo

There are 3 ways to get from Miami Airport (MIA) to the Florida Keys: by bus, car, or shuttle. We recommend renting a car and driving from the airport, or taking an Uber or cab. Keys Shuttle operates numerous daily trips between Key Largo, Miami, and Ft. Lauderdale Airports. You can also take a bus from the airport to Key Largo, which takes about 6 hours and costs $10 - $95.
