Yup! We love your kids and want them to celebrate with us! Please note that there is an open body of water and wooded areas all around so please keep an eye on the little ones!
There will be limited parking available at the venue. Please let us know in advance if you will be driving directly to the ceremony/reception.
The dress code is Semi-formal. We'd love to see everyone dolled up but we also want everyone to be comfortable. Please consider that this is an outdoor wedding with a hill down to the ceremony spot. It is also September in the North Country which means it could be 80 degrees and perfect or rainy and cold...
There will be transportation provided from Saranac Lake to the wedding venue and back to Saranac Lake in the evening. The Shuttle will Depart from Sara Placid Inn & Suites at 3:45pm for the Ceremony location. The Shuttle will return to Saranac Lake from the Reception location at two times: 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM.
We understand that Upstate New York might be a little difficult to get to for some people. The closest major airports are Albany, NY, Burlington, VT, and Montreal, Canada. There is also a bus that runs from NYC to Saranac Lake and a train that runs to Plattsburgh. If you are having trouble figuring out how to journey to Loon Lake or the surrounding areas, please reach out directly to Maggie or Andreas and we will work with you to come up with a solution!
