Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends that will be walking down the aisle with us!

Lyssie Badgerow

Maid of Honor

Lyssie is Maggie’s older sister. As kids they always wanted to play together but had different interests. Sometimes they still found games they both enjoyed and heavily bonded over dogs. On a few occasions, they read from a domesticated dogs book that lyssie had in her room and that was a game? As they have grown older they have really connected. Lyssie visited Maggie at ISU one weekend where they drank together, got cheap sushi, and watched Halloweentown for the 20th time. They often give each other advice and bond over their shared passion of reading books, particularly fantasy. It is very important to Maggie to have Lyssie standing up in the wedding because she has always been there for her and she is an important part of Maggie’s life.

Liam O’Connor

Best Man

Liam is Declan's younger brother. As Liam has gone through high school, especially senior year, the resemblance to Declan is almost mirror-like in every aspect. Declan and Liam have bonded over tattoos, the gym, gaming and engineering. Liam was an easy choice for best man due to the similarities they share and support they give each other for anything they need. Liam is entering his freshman year at UW-Oshkosh as a mechanical engineer and declan couldn't be more proud or excited for him.

Rachel O’Connor

Bridesmaid

Rachel is Maggie’s soon to be sister-in-law. Rachel and Maggie met through Declan and Tristin. Over time they have gotten to know each other and have become friends. Maggie was a bridesmaid in Rachel’s wedding and is elated to have Rachel be part of her special day as well.

Tristin O’Connor

Groomsman

Tristin is Declan's older brother. Tristin throughout their entire lives has set a good example of how to get things done to set yourself up for success. A skill that Declan admires from Tristin is his bluntness about all topics. Tristin will be down for anything fun or if you ask for help on something and that is a rare thing. Tristin and Declan have grown closer through gaming and occasional house visits for games and drinks with Rachel and Maggie. You didn't hear it from me, but Declan couldn't ask for a better older brother.

Gabrielle Davis

Bridesmaid

Gabby is Maggie’s high school best friend of almost a decade. Their friendship grew quickly over commonalities such as Grey’s Anatomy, coffee, chipotle and friend drama. There were many times where the two of them felt alone but always had each other. One of Maggie’s favorite memories with Gabby is when the two of them went to Walmart and bought every snack they could think of and snuck it all into the movie theater. At one point, the two of them pulled out full chicken tenders and some Chick-Fil-A sauce during the movie. Gabby standing in the wedding was one of the easiest decisions. The friendship and love she has shown Maggie has helped shape who she is. Her wedding day couldn’t possibly be complete without Gabby.

Blake Buchanan

Groomsman

Declan met Blake back in middle school. They didn’t start out as friends just mutual peers but grew their friendship over freshman football camp working out in a windowless gym under fluorescent lights and loving the grind. He is standing as a groomsman because he has always supported Declan despite long gaps in communication, they can pick up like they never left off and celebrate their successes.

Cassie Badgerow

Bridesmaid

Cassie is Maggie’s second youngest sister. As kids the two were attached at the hip. They learned the entire script of Teen Beach Movie and would pick characters to act it out, they made their own secret language called Sakeek, and they played teacher very frequently. These are just a few of their memories together, they shared a bedroom for majority of their early years so you can imagine there were lots of shenanigans. Maggie and Cassie always find a way to sing an old Disney song during every occasion to this day. Cassie is standing in the wedding because she has always been there for Maggie and it would mean a lot to have her by her side.

Jeffrey Hermosillo

Groomsman

Declan met Jefferey in middle school in Mrs. Tuckers English class, where Jeff was the class clown. He pushed her buttons very frequently. They were also on Mr. Hallman’s 8th grade basketball team together, where they both weren’t great scorers, but had lockdown defense. Jeff introduced a mentality to Declan he wasn’t sure he could ever adopt. It placed attitude and discipline above circumstances and emotions. That’s why he has the nickname Jeffery Goggins and proves to earn that nickname everyday. Jeffery is standing in the wedding because he is a go to man for Declan day or night and can always be counted on.

Addie Badgerow

Bridesmaid

Addie is Maggie’s youngest sister. She was born when Maggie was 15. During Covid their relationship grew the strongest because they watched Frozen and/or Frozen 2 every single day. There is a video of them together during this time where Addie says, “Can’t go at Donald’s (McDonald’s ), can’t go at the grocery stows, can’t go at the restawants” because of quarantine. To this day that is one of Maggie’s favorite memories with her. Now they continue to bond by watching Wicked and playing Roblox together on occasion. Addie is standing at the wedding because having her sister by her side on the big night means the world to Maggie.

Jerette Passero

Groomsman

Jerette is a very important friend to Declan. They have known each other since they were 7 years old. They have developed and grown together throughout every stage of life. Despite going to different high schools and having different post graduation plans, they have stayed connected through gaming and making and effort to stay in touch. Jerette has had a large influence on Declan regarding how he approaches challenges. Jerette constantly shows up with a can-do attitude and seeks out discomfort in the pursuit of growth. Declan has a lot to admire from Jerette's accomplishments and hopes they continue pushing each other competitively.
