Safety precautions

We want to give our guests all the information we can to make this event a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. We'll be updating this page and we learn more or things change.
Question

Face Masks & Social Distancing

Answer

All guests, employees of The Union, and vendors must maintain at least 6 feet separation from other individuals not within the same party ○ All employees and guests must wear a face covering (over the nose and mouth) wherever it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing from another individual not in the same household. This includes but not limited to the following situations: ■ When approaching a bar, buffet, or food station ■ When getting up to use the restroom ■ When on the dance floor ■ When socializing with an individual or group not within the same party

Guest sanitization

Answer

Hand sanitizer stations will be available on sign-in table outside, in restrooms, & upon entry of both entry/exit doors inside. We strongly encourage everyone to wash or disinfect hands upon entering The Union and after any interaction with any person or items in the space.

Venue sanitization

Answer

- The venue manager will manage and control access to The Union, by opening doors to prevent guests from touching door handles - Regularly and frequently clean restrooms, and document the cleanings - Disinfect any items that come into contact with guests - Clean and sanitize the venue hourly

Seating chart required for all events to help ensure proper 6 ft distancing between parties who do not live in same household (provided by Clients) No tables of more than 10 people - This max applies to people attending the event together or live in the same household - When seating guests not in the same household, seating must follow the 6 ft. distancing rule

Dance floor

Answer

- Should still follow the 6 ft. distancing rule and masks should be worn - Not able to be moved outside - 50% indoor occupancy limits apply, keep in mind when dancing

- Catering will wear protective masks at all times. - All food and drink will be served to guests by the catering staff.

Valet

Answer

Valet attendants are required to wear protective masks while working and will be equipped with hand sanitizer They will also use hospital grade disinfectant that will be sprayed on all guests’ keys, seat, steering wheel, and anywhere else the valet may come in contact with upon the return of the vehicle.
