The crisp October air always gave me excitement butterflies. Taking in the dim lighting for Rodizio Grill, I grinned. It was a little out of place that Matt would offer to take me out. Especially for a birthday. It's funny how he dislikes those things. But we were here and the tantalizing smell of grilled meat filled the air. We ate until our bellies were at the edge of bursting. Leaning into Matt's arm, I felt at peace. "Let's go walk off everything we ate," he suggested in his low voice. "Riparian?" I nodded, feeling a little giddy. Surely, he wasn't up to anything? As we walked through the preserve, the cool air caressed us. We strolled through the path leading to a hidden away pavilion. "So when are we going to have sex here?" I joked. Chuckling, Matt responded with a, "Whenever you want." Reaching the pavilion, there were a few people setting up a camera. Matt steered me past it and we ended up at the bridge. The air was cool from the lake and the floating, sleeping ducks looked peaceful. "Shall we keep walking?" I breathed out. Pressing his side to me he replied, "Just a little longer." What for? He said he didn't want marriage. He wouldn't, right? As we stood there, I felt him shift. Suddenly kneeling, he presented a ring to me. "Will you marry me Magda?"
