FAQs

Question

Is this a wedding ceremony or is this a wedding reception?

Answer

We had a wedding ceremony in February and this will be considered a wedding reception! A time to celebrate as we have just gotten married when we had privately eloped. We will be doing some of the traditions during this celebration (like first dances, reading vows, cutting the cake, etc.)

Question

Should I bring my child to this celebration?

Answer

Although we love your children, we are very sorry, but we are unable to extend the invitation to all children over the age of 2. We have a strict guest number guideline that we must follow due to the Deer Creek Vineyards policy. This means any child (under 2) that is parent-dependent does not count towards our guest number. We hope you can understand and still join us on our special day!

Question

What if I get thirsty and hungry?!

Answer

No need to worry about that! Since our reception is being held at a beautiful vineyard we will be providing a few wines for our guests. We will have available by the glass a wonderful Rosé and a delight Pinot Gris. If you don't fancy either one of those, Deer Creek Vineyards has many other wine options available for purchase. There will be water and non-alcoholic drinks available as well! Also, there will be a delicious catered dinner!

Question

Is there parking at the reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking a large parking lot across the way from the Vineyard. It's across the street and a very short walk, just a couple hundred feet!

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

It would be very helpful if you could RSVP as soon as you can, but our RSVP deadline will be June 22, 2024.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code will be formal. Dresses are expected for the women and nice shirts for the men. Our reception will be filled with colors like: lighter yellows, lavender, sage greens, light pinks, light blues and other fun colors! Remember to not wear white, unless you like a little red wine mixed into the color scheme ;)
