Dress Code: Elevated Cocktail We invite our guests to dress in an elegant, sophisticated style. Ladies should choose midi to floor-length dresses that exude refinement. Gentlemen are required to wear suits, with tuxedos highly recommended for an extra touch of glamour. For men we suggest darker, rich hues like navy, charcoal, black, or emerald green for a polished look. Please note: White, ivory, cream, beige, and light champagne attire is strictly prohibited. Guests wearing these colors and/or wearing jeans, will be asked to change or leave the event. Our goal is to create a cohesive and stylish celebration that honors the formality of our special day.
Due to venue capacity constraints, we can only accommodate guests who are specifically named on your wedding invitation. If you have been granted a plus one, this will be clearly indicated when you RSVP. We appreciate your understanding as we work to create an intimate and memorable celebration.
We respectfully request no children at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening. The only ‘children’ allowed will be our flower girl and ring bearer who were approved and selected by the Bride and Groom. Wedding guests who ignore this request will be escorted out of the venue.
Yes, complimentary parking is available at Southern Oaks. The parking lot will be secured and monitored by the New Orleans Police Department, ensuring a safe and convenient experience for our guests.
We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before the ceremony, which begins at 7:00pm. This will give you ample time to find your seat, check in, and get comfortable. Please note that guests will not be permitted on the premises more than 20 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.
Yes! We've created a wedding registry to help make gift-giving easy and fun. You'll find all the details conveniently located on the Registry page of our wedding website.
Yes, we'll be offering an open bar, providing complimentary drinks for all our guests throughout the celebration. We want everyone to raise a glass and enjoy the evening with us!
To RSVP, please visit our wedding website's dedicated RSVP page. We kindly request that you submit your response by JULY 22ND, 2026 to help us finalize our wedding arrangements. You can also use the RSVP cards included with your invitation, which typically feature a convenient online link for easy submission.
If you miss the RSVP deadline, we may not be able to include you at our wedding. Our vendors and venue require a precise guest count by a specific date, so timely responses are crucial. We'll send out invitations and reminders, but it's important that you RSVP as soon as possible to ensure your spot at our celebration. If we do not get a response before one month of the wedding, we will effectively reach out to each guest that has not RSVPed. If you are unable to attend but have already RSVP’d, please contact the couple asap so there is an accurate head count for the wedding venue. We would love to have everyone there to celebrate our special day!
Our ceremony will be an intimate, unplugged moment where we kindly ask that you set aside your phones and cameras. We want you to be fully present as we exchange our vows, creating a shared experience free from digital distractions. Our professional photographers will beautifully capture every precious moment, and we look forward to sharing those images with you after our wedding day. Feel free to snap away during the reception—we'll even have a Photo Booth for extra fun—but during our ceremony, your heartfelt presence is the most meaningful gift you can give us.
Yes! We've reserved a block of rooms at a special rate for our wedding guests. You'll find all the details on our travel page.

Our venue, Southern Oaks, is fully prepared for New Orleans' unpredictable weather. The entire celebration—from ceremony to reception—will take place indoors if it rains, ensuring a seamless and beautiful experience regardless of the forecast.
We recommend ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft as convenient transportation options for our wedding. If you anticipate needing a ride home and cannot drive, these services provide safe and reliable alternatives. We kindly ask all guests to prioritize their safety and make responsible travel arrangements.
We're happy to help! Please thoroughly review our wedding website, save-the-dates, and invitations first. If you still have a question, we welcome you to contact us directly via text, email, or phone.
