Flight Recommendations

We recommend flying into Rome and taking the train to Empoli. Direct flights from Chicago to Rome are easier, with fewer layovers and less chance of lost luggage. Flights to Florence often have more connections. Book flights 4–7 months in advance for the best prices and options, especially for September travel.

House Or Rental

Villa L’Arco

We’re renting a beautiful villa for the whole weekend to celebrate our big day! There’s plenty of space for guests to stay, but if we end up with more RSVPs than rooms, don’t worry—we’ll make sure everyone’s taken care of nearby. Please send in your RSVP as soon as possible so we can plan all the details and make sure everything’s set for an amazing weekend together!

Getting Around

Trains are such an easy and fun way to travel around Italy. You can book tickets online through Trenitalia or Italo—both have English websites and are super simple to use. If you want to compare routes and prices, Trainline and Omio are also great options.
