Our story began in the most unexpected place: at a Little 500 house party in Bloomington, even though neither of us went to IU. He was holding someone else’s puppy, and that’s all it took for us to start talking. One great conversation and an invite to the bars later, and we’ve pretty much been inseparable ever since. Since that night in April 2022, we’ve survived plenty of football games (he proudly converted me into an OSU fan), explored many countries, and even checked two Wonders of the World off our list. Not bad for a night that started with a borrowed puppy!
