For our out-of-town guests, we recommend using a rideshare service or carpooling with other guests when traveling between the parish and the reception venue. If you are driving and not staying overnight at a hotel, please park in the public overflow lot across the street from the parish, as the connected main lot will be reserved for the wedding party. Following the ceremony, we suggest parking at the Nashville City Center, L&C, or TPAC garages, all conveniently located near The Hermitage Hotel. Valet parking will also be available at the hotel for a flat rate of $45 for the duration of the reception.
This will be a black tie only wedding. Please consult the imagery on our main website for what falls within dress code. We recommend floor-length dresses for women. Men are asked to wear suits, with tuxedos welcome but not required. Kindly avoid blue and navy tones, as these colors are reserved for the immediate family and bridal party. Navy suits for male guests are perfectly acceptable.
The Grand Ballroom at The Hermitage Hotel has a strict capacity limit of 140 guests. To help us stay within this limit, we kindly ask that you RSVP only for the individuals specifically named on your invitation. If a significant other has been included, please be sure to RSVP for both yourself and your partner. Please note that the venue requires all children to be at least 10 years old. We regret that infants and young children cannot be accommodated.
Michael and I are heading to Seattle right after the wedding for his Regiment assignment—honeymoon first, of course! Since we’re in between homes, we’ve kept our registry simple. During cocktail hour and reception dancing, we will be hosting an open bar in the lobby of the hotel while dinner will include passed wine tableside. As always, please drink responsibly. When you RSVP, you’ll find a section to indicate your dinner preferences and any dietary restrictions—please be sure to fill it out accordingly!
