The hotel is located right on Wrightsville Beach, and all transportation will pick up directly from the hotel. There are so many great AirBnB options in Wrightsville Beach for those that may be traveling in larger groups and want the amenities of a beach house. We recommend finding places that are accessible to the Blockade Runner for ease of transportation during the wedding weekend.

For a more budget-friendly option, the Hampton Inn is right off of the island (~2 miles from the beach) and is close to some great coffee shops/restaurants. Wilmington International Airport (ILM)

ILM is the closest airport to Wrightsville Beach, and we recommend it for a seamless travel day. If you fly into ILM, it is easy to get an Uber/Lyft to the Blockade Runner or other downtown Wrightsville Beach locations (20 minute drive).

Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU)

If you want to take a trip down memory lane or just prefer a more cost effective flight option, we recommend flying into RDU and renting a car for the 2 hour, 15 minute drive to Wrightsville Beach. We have plenty of Durham restaurant recs if you need direction!
