Question

What dates should I plan to be in Wrightsville Beach?

Answer

We would love for you to be in Wrightsville with us from Friday evening through Sunday. We will not have any planned activities on Sunday morning, so feel free to take early flights out (you won't be missing anything!)

Question

What are the dress codes for Friday and Saturday?

Answer

For Friday evening, please wear beachy cocktail attire. Women can wear dresses and shoes you are comfortable being outside in. Men can wear slacks and button downs (no ties required). For Saturday, the dress code is formal. Women should wear mid or floor length dresses and be mindful of shoe choice (you will be walking on grass). Men should wear suits and ties.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Wrightsville Beach is normally ~80 degrees during the day and ~60 at night in late September.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We adore all of the kids in our lives! We would love to have your children join us at the Welcome Party on Friday night, but ask that you leave them at home on Saturday for the Wedding and Reception (enjoy a parent's night out!). We are happy to help you find trusted babysitters in Wilmington - please reach out to Madison if needed!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our favorite part of North Carolina is the natural beauty, and we are so excited to share that with all of you! Our wedding weekend will be almost completely outdoors. The Welcome Party will be indoor/outdoor at the Moyle Beach House, and the Wedding Day (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception) will all be outdoors. We recommend that women wear block heels or flats for ease of walking in the grass, and it is always a good idea to bring a shawl to keep warm at night (you hopefully won't need it because you will be dancing).

Question

Will there be dinner at the Welcome Party?

Answer

Light bites and drinks will be served at the Welcome Party. We recommend grabbing a meal at one of our favorite spots (see Things to Do section) before!

For all the days along the way
