Things To DoThings To Do

As Joshua & I are both half puerto rican, we couldn't have thought of a better place to have our wedding! Although it is required for guests to be at all wedding activities, here are a few of our favorite places around the island if you wish to arrive early or stay a little longer.
Old San Juan

Old San JuanOld San Juan

San Juan, San Juan 00916, Puerto Rico

The perfect day trip in the heart of puerto rico! San Juan has many things to do and see. The website linked has a list of some must see sights. My favorite is the Castillo San Felipe del Morro. Don't forget to stop by Barrachina Restaurant in Old San Juan to try the original Piña Colada! Located about 2 hours from the wedding site

El Yunque National Forest

A must see when visiting PR! El Yunque is tropical rainforest perfect for hiking and swimming in waterfalls. Hours are 8am-5pm and entry is free. Wear comfortable hiking shoes and a bathing suit under your clothes and make sure to bring snacks and water. Located around 2 hours from the wedding site. Zip lining over the rainforest is also available through Rain forest zip line park. Josh & I had the best time there on our trip back in September of 2025. https://rainforestzipline.com/

Ojo de Agua

Vega Baja, Vega Baja 00693, Puerto Rico

A natural fresh water spring located in my family's hometown of Vega Baja. My dad and my aunt used to swim here as kids and it was special to be able to visit myself. Perfect for a relaxing day. Parking is free nearby. There is also a convenience store nearby where you can buy snacks and drinks. Located one hour from the wedding site.
