FAQs

The Wedding Website of Madisyn Foltz and Calvin Schneider
If you have any other questions other than what's listed here, feel free to reach out to Calvin & Madisyn. We recommend checking in with our wedding site regularly, as we will be updating information as we finalize the details.
Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We love seeing our family and friends dressed up, so we're requesting formal/black tie optional attire. Please note that the ceremony will take place on gravel, so choose your shoes wisely

Question

When should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

We are arranging for a shuttle to transport our guests to La Baronia, approximately one hour north of Barcelona. The shuttle will pick-up our guests at the Plaça de Catalunya in Barcelona and leave for the venue at 3:00 pm sharp. The shuttle will return to Barcelona at approximately midnight.

Question

Will I be able to take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are so excited that you'll be joining us, and we want you to relax and be fully present for our ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer who will capture every moment, and we'll make sure you see those photos right after we do! With this in mind, we are having an unplugged ceremony and ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony and put your cell phones on silent. For the reception... go wild! And don't forget to share your pics with us.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing will take place outside. Spain's weather in September is typically beautiful and we're hoping that is the case. However, if the weather does not cooperate, we won't let a little rain dampen our spirits, but we will move the activities inside.

Question

Will there be other wedding festivities to attend?

Answer

Yes - plenty, but completely optional! We will be hosting a Welcome Party in Barcelona on Wednesday night at the Phillipines Club at 5:30pm. If we're still standing after the wedding reception, we plan to keep the party going at Never Speakeasy until early morning! Recovery will take place on Bogatell Beach the following day at Bo Kaap any time from 12-4pm. These details can be found on the Schedule tab of our website.

Question

What is the dress code for the Welcome Party

Answer

Dressy Casual Embrace a relaxed yet refined Mediterranean aesthetic. We invite guests to dress in polished, comfortable attire suitable for an evening of drinks, tapas, and celebration in Barcelona. Ladies might opt for flowy midi or maxi dresses, chic separates, jumpsuits, or satin skirts paired with elegant tops. Gentlemen may choose linen shirts, casual dress shirts, tailored trousers, or lightweight slacks with loafers or dress shoes. Think effortlessly stylish, festive, and comfortable—perfect for a late summer evening in Spain.
