What started out as a brief 10-day roommate situation when Annie and Hailey first moved to DC for work/internship became a beautiful friendship. They were co-workers and regular coffee buddies until Hailey left Annie behind to pursue her master's degree on the West Coast.

Aside from being Madison's brother, Michael played an important role in Madison and Annie's relationship: He flew all the way from California to DC to help them watch Tuna when they went to Iceland and got engaged! Michael was always there when Annie and Madison needed him, with his signature shoulder shrug ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but always saying yes to whatever favor they ask.

Annie's sister from another mother (and father) that she found at work!!! They share with each other so many ups and downs in both work and personal life. Juna is the one person who hugs Annie when she ugly cries, is frank and direct to Annie without being afraid she'll be offended, and supports Annie no matter what.

They were comrade-in-arms from grad school. Madison was so excited when Michael also moved across the country to be a fellow government worker, so they can be comrade-in-arms again in boardgames, kayaking, trivia and Korean BBQ! Michael also throws the best surprise birthday party and is the only person Annie allows Madison to call "babe" beside herself.

Sahar and Annie met through their then boyfriends (now fiance/husband). The biggest thing they share is their tolerance (and of course, love) for their SO's and the boys' (sometimes) inappropriate and no-filter humor. Sahar is the kindest and easiest girl to relate to. If you meet Sahar, you'll love the amount of energy and positivity she has for almost everything, including when she forced Annie to let her help with arranging wedding flowers. Annie cannot find a better girl to be her support on her wedding day!
