We're getting married!

We met in August 2014, when we joined the same company as our first jobs out of college. I asked Steve to show me around the office (even though I knew exactly where to go), and later he got my number from a mutual friend. After talking back and forth for a few weeks, we went on our first date - and the rest is history!

Lake Erie has always been a special place for us. It's where we went for our first road trip, where we spent our first anniversary, and of course, where we sample all of the fine wines northwest Pennsylvania has to offer! It didn't raise any red flags for me at all when Steve wanted to take a trip up north, or when he wanted to drive through Presque Isle State Park before heading to dinner. We pulled off at a pier with a lighthouse at the end of it, to explore. I was looking out over the water, turned around at Steve's voice, and was SHOCKED to see him down on one knee! I screamed, shouted "YES!", and we were engaged. We'll be married exactly one year later. We are so excited to share and celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in May!
