A pub and coffeeshop in one! What more could you ask for? (also, a little secret for the hipster-minded on our guest list, a couple of people from Family and Friends work here sometimes, soooo)
Not only a restaurant, bar, and coffeeshop all in one place, but it's also a board game cafe! It has a floor to ceiling bookcase of board games, and has great indoor and outdoor seating for hanging out.
If you're into British pub food and amazing fish and chips, this is your place.
Honestly the cutest local bookstore of all time.
If you're feeling particularly cultured, this is a great place to check out. There is a beautiful selection of art and it's on a beautiful part of the University of Georgia's campus.
Yes, this is where we are holding the wedding ceremony and reception, but the gardens and trails in the gardens are beautiful to walk through as well.
An adorable burger joint with a 50s diner vibe and weird B-rated sci-fi movies playing in the background. Their burgers are to die for.
For all you NERDZ, this bar is for you. It's literally a bar with arcade games and video games, with a super chill atmosphere.
This is an *awesome* local brewery, great beer, amazing atmosphere. (we actually wanted to have our reception here, so definitely think about checking it out!)
The fact that this place was rated as one of the best record stores in the U.S. by Rolling Stone should be reason enough to check it out.
Specifically, meander around north campus (literally right across the street from downtown). You'll feel like you're on an Ivy League campus. Just as a forewarning, take a map or your GPS with you. UGA is *massive* and I promise you that you'll get lost.
If you happen to have a lot of time on your hands, this is an adorable movie theatre to catch the latest film (or at least, anything that was shown at Sundance Film Festival). You feel like you're stepping back into the 50s when you go in.
