Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Literally whatever makes you feel the most comfortable. If you come barefoot, that's cool. If you come wearing flannel and jeans, that's cool. If you come wearing a dress, that's cool. We're going for a casual vibe, but if you come in a ballgown or a tux, that's also cool.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Please, NO pictures during the ceremony! We have hired who we believe are the best photographers in the area and an awesome videographer for this day, and using your cell phone/iPad/digital camera/GoPro/film camera/drone/literally anything will get in the way of their work. No photography or videography will be allowed during the ceremony. This is incredibly important to both Steven and I, so please honor this one rule.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

You can arrive at the gardens whenever you please (the gardens are absolutely beautiful in the morning). The doors to the chapel will be open thirty minutes before the ceremony starts and will be closed immediately when the ceremony starts. We recommend getting there at least 10 to 15 minutes before the start time of 10:30 so you have time to park and walk down to the chapel.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There are signs all the way back to the Day Chapel. Follow those signs, and there will be a very large parking lot with plenty of free spaces for you to park. You will take a short walk from the parking lot down a paved walkway through a wooded area to the day chapel.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

You better believe it!

Question

What are the group gifts in your registry?

Answer

If you are so kind as to buy us a gift, this is an option for you. Because some household necessities are big ticket items, we have made several items on our Zola registry group gift items. This means you can either pay for the whole thing, if you wish, or contribute any amount (literally, you can contribute $5 if you want). This way, there is no pressure to buy a big ticket item, but you are able to contribute to some of the most important things that will be in our household for years to come. And yes, we will know if you contribute! We receive notifications for all of our gifts, including contributions.
