Britain is Madi's younger sister by 5 and a half years and they are best friends! They have had made some very fun, unforgettable memories together from cheerleading, traveling together, driving their parents crazy, and always looking for a bowl of french onion soup. Britain knows exactly how Madi likes things done and is the most perfect MOH. She also enjoys hanging out with Sandor, Chiga, and Cannoli!

Stephanie Schmigel

Bridesmaid

Stephanie is Madi's older cousin and have been best friends since they were little girls! They grew up playing with their Barbies by the pool and getting into trouble. Steph has always been there to give Madi advice on everything from pre-teen fashion (circa 2010, you could always find them in Abercrombie or Hollister shopping) to boy problems. Steph has been someone that Madi has looked up to her entire life and could not imagine her wedding day without her because she has always been there for Madi.

Caroline Schmigel

Caroline is Madi's younger cousin. Madi and Caroline have a special relationship where they can be honest with each other, no matter what! Madi can always depend upon Caroline to make her laugh. Although Madi and Caroline live 6 hours apart, they have always kept a close relationship. Caroline is typically the life of the party and Madi is excited to hit the dance floor with her all night on her wedding day.

Courtney Zoglmann

Courtney was Madi's college roommate for 4 years at Penn State Behrend! They became very close, very quickly and bring out the best in each other. Courtney has supported Madi through some really high, highs (like getting engaged) and really low, lows (like running out of gas in the middle of winter in Erie) and Madi is very grateful to have Courtney in her life. She even helped Sandor plan the perfect proposal!

Lindsey Thelk

Lindsey and Madi have been friends since they attended kindergarten together at St. Louise de Marillac. Lindsey and Madi have many memories with each other from attending the same school together for 13 years, cheering and coaching together, and continuing to make each other laugh over the silliest things. Madi treasures her special friendship with Lindsey because of how they truly understand each other and always are there for each other.

Sami Weryha

Madi and Sami became quick friends their freshmen year at Penn State Behrend when they tried out for the cheerleading squad together! When Madi first met Sami, she knew that she would be friends with Sami for the rest of her life. Sami and Madi are also sorority sisters and have lots of hilarious memories together from frat party basements, studying abroad in Rome (looking for Caesar), and visiting each other in Erie and Pittsburgh.

Tibor Koppanyi

Best Man

Tibor is 2 years younger than Sandor and is Sandor’s middle brother. They love sharing movie and music recommendations as well as attending concerts together whenever they can. Tibor now lives in Pittsburgh near Sandor. They love to meet up at restaurants or EDM concerts whenever they can.

Peti Koppanyi

Best Man

Peti is 5 years younger than Sandor and is his youngest brother. He just moved to Philadelphia. Whenever Peti and Sandor visit each other they love to catch up on sports or the best beer they tried most recently. Sandor is so excited to have his little brothers beside him on his big day!

Michael Edson

Groomsman

Michael is one of Sandor’s closest cousins. In Sandor’s family, he has 30 first cousins and each cousin has at least one or two that are in similar age range as each other. Michael and Sandor grew up hanging out with each other at every family function. They lived with each other at their grandparent’s house for the first summer that Sandor moved to Pittsburgh in 2017.

Peter Gordon

Groomsman

Peter is also one of Sandor’s closest cousins. He is the 2nd cousin that is also in the same age group as Sandor. Peter, Michael, and Sandor all went on a Disney trip with their grandparents when they were in 3rd grade as per the family’s tradition. Sandor would grow up coming to Pittsburgh every year for a month and would go to Peter’s house or meet up at Allegheny Country Club.

Peyton is Madi’s younger brother. Peyton and Sandor consistently butt heads, however have found a strong bond through watching many lengthy critically acclaimed movies and other common likes during the COVID lockdown. So much so, that Sandor at the time of purchasing a house with Madi, was agreeable to let Peyton live with him and Madi.

Camden Start

Groomsman

Camden is Madi’s youngest brother. He will be graduating from WVU May, 2023. Camden thoroughly enjoys watching sports and Marvel movies. One time, Camden and Sandor went to a WVU basketball game together. Considering their age gap and the years Sandor has been out of college, he was delighted that he still appeared young enough to be a student and could sit in the student section with Camden.
