What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for both the welcome party and wedding is cocktail attire. We kindly ask that guests don’t wear jeans or sneakers.

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

No. We love your kids—we really do but we want our wedding to be your night off! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us.

Can I take pictures during your ceremony?

Answer

We are going to have an “unplugged” ceremony meaning that all electronics must be put away. We kindly ask that you be respectful of this and enjoy being present in the moment.

Will there be a cookie table?

Answer

Absolutely! It would not be a Pittsburgh wedding without one! If you are interested in having your famous cookie "star" in our cookie table, please reach out to Madi!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named when you RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding!

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Hotel Indigo in Oakland will be staying open late for us after the wedding from 11 PM-2AM! Feel free to change out of your fancy clothes and stop by for a drink if you aren’t ready for the night to end.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Guests will be responsible for getting themselves to and from our ceremony at St. Peter Catholic Church. A shuttle will be running from Hotel Indigo in Oakland to get guests to cocktail hour and again at the end of the night to transport guests back to the hotel. We also recommend Uber has a great option. Ubers are typically very easy to secure.

Answer

Yes-you can find our registry on our Zola site! We also have a “honeymoon fund”, which we are hoping to use to help fund our trip to London and Paris.

Parking?!

Answer

Welcome Party at the Duquesne Club-The Smithfield/Liberty garage is connected to the Duquesne Club on the 6th floor of the garage. Ceremony at St. Peter’s-There is a parking lot behind the church as well as street parking. Reception at Soldiers and Sailors-There is a parking garage below the museum.
