Question

Are there going to be speeches?

Answer

Of course! Alternatively if you and your family would rather preform (sing/play an instrument) we would highly encourage you to do so! If you would like to do either, please reach out so we can plan accordingly. Additionally, we ask you to keep speeches close to the 3 minute mark.

Question

What can I do to help?

Answer

Ask! We appreciate all the help we can get and we will need as much as possible throughout the entire process. Wether it is hands-on-help or financial support we are grateful for whatever you are willing to offer.

Question

Do I have to bring a gift?

Answer

Of course not! Helping with the setup/cleanup would be gift enough! Offer your services and we will play to your strengths. We are just grateful to get everyone together. We understand you are taking time out of your lives to be there and we appreciate your presence.

Question

What is an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Thank you for asking! The Bride and Groom would like to request that you silence your phones and put them away during the ceremony. We understand how tempting it may be to snap a quick pic of us at the alter but we ask that you refrain from doing so. There will be a professional photographer present, we will see to it that whomever would like the ceremony pictures will receive a copy. Once the ceremony is complete feel free to take as many pictures as you would like. The reason for this request is we want all of our delightful guests to be as present in the moment as possible. Thank you.

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes, there will be on site parking. It is not an official lot so bring your sedan at your own risk. Parking will be available in one of the Nielson's fields that will be mowed and made as level as possible.

Question

Why are there 3 days on the schedule?

Answer

There’s a simple explanation for that! We are treating this as a family reunion of sorts. The first day is to gather your bearings, explore your surroundings, and get comfortable. The second day is for the ceremony and celebration of the wedding. Finally, the third day is to relax and enjoy each other’s company.
