We are delighted to welcome you to Madison, WI!
We appreciate that so many of you are traveling in, and are thrilled to share our special day and wonderful city with you. Madison is the capital of Wisconsin and home to the University of Wisconsin (UW). There are many lakes and parks, a vibrant downtown and great restaurants. Madison's parents moved to Madison when her dad, Jim, was finishing his doctorate. They expected to stay only briefly - naming their firstborn after the city - but never moved! Hari also has lots of family in the nearby Madison area, primarily on the far East Side, Sun Prairie, & Milwaukee, and many cousins that have graduated from UW. Madison is easily accessible by plane or car, with major interstates leading right to it!

Madison, Wisconsin (MSN)
This is the most direct option and a smaller, easy-to-navigate airport. Rental cars and Uber/Lyft are readily available, and the airport is only about a 10-minute drive from the wedding hotel in downtown Madison.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin (MKE)
Milwaukee is a mid-sized airport that is easy to navigate. Rental cars are available, and you can take I-94 West to downtown Madison, which takes approximately 1.5 hours. The Badger Bus is also an option, taking about 2 hours; it picks up outside Baggage Claim Door #2 and drops off in downtown Madison, about a 10-minute walk from the wedding hotel. Bus fares are approximately $25 one way or $50 round trip.
Flight
Chicago, Illinois (ORD)
If you prefer to fly into a major airport, Chicago O’Hare is a great option. From ORD, you can rent a car and take I-90/I-94 West to Madison; the drive typically takes about 2.5 hours. There is also the Van Galder bus, which takes 3 hours and drops you off near the Kohl Center downtown, just a 3-minute drive or 10-minute walk from the wedding hotel. Bus fares are $38 one way or $68 round trip.

The Madison Concourse Hotel
We have a room block at the Concourse Hotel from Thursday, April 30th – Sunday, May 3rd. This hotel is just a 2-minute walk from the Saturday wedding venue, Orpheum Theater! Rooms are $229 per night, with options for 2 queen beds or 1 king bed. To reserve, call (800) 356-8293 and mention you are with the Patel/Tomony wedding party. Important: If you reserve online through the hotel’s website or a third-party site, you must call and let them know you are in our block.
