Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

After invitations are sent, you can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at any time. We will include a paper RSVP with the invite if you prefer to mail your RSVP back to us!

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will NOT Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending," but find that you will not make it, please notify Madison as soon as you are aware.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We will only accommodate those listed on your invitation. While we love all of the children in our lives, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults only event (the only exception are the little ones in our bridal party and immediate family). We hope you understand and enjoy a night off!

Question

Is there a dress code for the rehearsal dinner/welcome party?

Answer

Dressy/casual — Ladies may wear a sundress, jumpsuit, maxi dress, or a blouse with dress pants. Gentlemen should wear a button-down or polo shirt with slacks or khakis. Kindly refer to the dress guideline visual on the gallery tab for suggestions/ideas.

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail — Ladies may choose a cocktail-style dress in knee-length, midi, short, or long. Gentlemen should wear dress pants with a jacket (suit jacket or blazer); a tie is optional. Kindly refer to the dress guideline visual on the gallery tab for suggestions/ideas.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm, we recommend you aim to arrive by 3:30pm to ensure you are able to comfortably arrive on time.

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Parking will be available on site. Please be aware that even though the walk from the parking area to the venue is short, it is a bit rocky. Also, if you do not feel comfortable driving home, Breckenridge Barn allows vehicles to remain overnight in the parking lot. We encourage guests to carpool or arrange a safe ride if needed, as our priority is that everyone returns home safely.

Question

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

All of my bridesmaids will be wearing black.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

Maryland is very unpredictable! If the day is calling for rain, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held indoors.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! If you are not staying at the Holiday Inn, please arrange transportation from the venue if you plan on drinking. We want all of our loved ones to make it home safe.

Question

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes, please check the "Travel" tab in our website for more information.
