Colaneri Estate Winery
We rave about this winery to anyone who will listen, and if they’ve been they’ve agreed. This is truly the best wine in the region (and we’ve tried a lot of wine). If you visit anywhere from our list let it be this vineyard. The staff are incredible, and the winery itself is gorgeous. Our wine recommendations; White: Cavallone, Red: Corposo. You truly cannot go wrong with any wine here, it’s all amazing.
Wayne Gretzky Estates
This is where the vineyard Connor proposed is, needless to say it holds a special place in our hearts. In addition, their tasting flights are the best in the region. If you’re not big on wine, they include many varieties of whiskey as options for their flights! Don’t forget to order the warm baguette with maple whiskey butter, a must have every time we visit.
Konzelmann Estate Winery
The views here are unmatched. Located right on Lake Ontario you can sip wine and catch a view of the CN tower if the weathers right! They have so many fun wine & treat experiences.
Nina Gelateria & Pastry Shop
The best gelato in the area, so good we celebrated our engagement here. The chocolate raspberry, and tiramisu are among our favourites. You cannot go wrong with any of their pastries either!
Queen Street
The heritage district. Talk a walk and admire all the unique shops, as if you’re in a Hallmark movie. It’s filled with historic buildings, adorable stores & places to eat. Home to fritters on the lake, COWS ice cream, Balzac's coffee - the treat options are unlimited.
Bricks & Barley
A lunch or dinner must visit. It’s laid back and relaxed, with all the comfort food you can dream of. You truly cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, they have a rotating chips & dip which is a must order for us.
The Grist - Craft Kitchen & Brewery
This is undoubtedly our favourite restaurant. There’s probably going to be a waitlist but we can guarantee it’s well worth it. The atmosphere is immaculate, the food is delicious. We try something new every time and have never been disappointed. They even make their own beer if you’re tired of wine!
