Maid of Honor
I have known Anna since freshman year of High School. We really became close when we found we shared a few classes and study hall together, where we would goof off and irritate our teacher. When I had my hairbrained idea of starting a swing dancing club at Pike, Anna was ALL IN. She was a driving force and an excellent swing dancer and best friend. She has attended countless events with me. We have stayed awake for full weekends of dancing, she saved me from passing out at a concert, she has been a constant pillar of support and quirk for me and I love her dearly for it.
Best Man
What is a younger brother to say about his big brother? He was my hero, my role model, my rival, my biggest supporter, and a huge pain in my ass, but most importantly he is my best friend. I know William will always be with me as I make my way through life and that is why I asked him to be my best man. We have spent our years shaping each other’s lives and I could think of no person to have by my side as I transition into a wonderful new phase of my life. Thank you for always being there. I love you broham.
Bridesmaid
I have known Sha since 6th grade, and that is a long time of love and friendship. Each time we get together it usually involves some sort of food adventure--sometimes just going out and eating at strange places or making the food ourselves. She is so very unique, and funny and is possibly the STRONGEST woman I have ever met. Not only is she the perfect combination of petty and sassy, but also a fierce friend and loyal friend to the core. She recently moved to Florida, but she has come back just for the wedding. She is so sweet, and I am thrilled to share this day with her.
Groomsman
Brett is one of my longest friends. He and I met in elementary school and we had classes all the way through high school. We have grown together, matured and become men. We cheered the triumphs of our favorite games and books, as well as mourned their defeats. We played catch in my back yard, and slew villains in his (Honestly, probably the reason I got into stage combat) He even join theatre after I told him how great it was. I have been lucky enough to have a bright and diligent friend to remind me what it means to work hard. Brett has been there for every valley and peak in my life, and that is why I asked him to be up there with me
Bridesmaid
Alyson and I met when I was just starting at IUPUI. She had pink hair and was also not doing well in our Physiology class--I knew we were going to be fast friends. If we were on campus, we would find eachother and get drinks/food at starbucks, do our homework and talk about life. I have had the pleasure and honor of being in her own wedding, and seeing her blossom into a full-blown adult with a husband, house, dogs and now a rowdy toddler named Manning. Shes a sweet and gorgeous lady who is so very kind, and has a keen eye for bargain shopping.
Groomsman
I owe Doug for giving me something I can be truly proud of, ILA. His crazy ideas might be half baked, but his earnest passion and creativity have pushed me higher and further than I ever thought I could. He is my first student and a reminder of what hard work and determination can do to overcome any weakness. He has such grit while always being affable and kind. He is always at my side, guiding me with his imagination, and that is why I asked him to be up there with me
Bridesmaid
Izzy and I met through a mutual friend in High school. She and her parents frequented Fountain Square for Swing dancing all the time. We hung out in our friend groups, and then it eventually boiled down to just her and I spending time together. It was Izzy who suggested that she and I go to night classes at the Indiana Deaf school take some basic American Sign language. We took 3 sessions together and it was a wonderful bonding experience that re-ignited my passion for ASL and eventually led to my career change to become an American Sign Language Interpreter. She is always up to meet up at noodles and company and discuss everything and anything. Izzy and her family are so warm and welcoming and make everyone feel loved and like family.

Izzy is one of the bravest people I know. She spent a vast majority of her life not being who she is. Feeling uncomfortable in her skin and being shy and withdrawn. I could talk about our childhood together, and I treasure those memories more than I let her know, but I want to focus on how she is an inspiration to me. While navigating an incredible transition in life, she has continued to be an immensely supportive friend, working tirelessly to make the lives around her that much better. Seeing her become who she is and grow in confidence has made me so incredibly happy for her and proud of her. Her strength and inspiration is why I asked her to be up there with me.
Bridesmaid
Kristin and I met through the Indy Lightsaber Academy. She is one of our longtime students turned friend. I think our friendship truly blossomed when we started training together to compete in Paris for the first International Lightsaber competition. She is unique and hilarious, and has a wonderful personality. In addition, she is talented as all get out. She can cosplay like nobodies business, and has professionally made mascot costumes and hats. Kristen can create masterpieces with fabric and also with baking. She comes over and drinks wine and bakes goodies semi-frequently. Let me tell you, not only is her baking STUNNING, but also tasty. She is one of the most extra, but also the most grounded people I have met, and I am happy to agreed to be a part of our special day
Groomsman
Anyone who knows Chuck also knows he is the nicest person on this earth. I have had countless late nights kicking his butt at X-wing (a game he introduced me to) trash talking, just to have him compliment me. There is such a fire within him, drive, determination, and grit, but you would never see anything but a smile. He is selfless and kind. He is such a generous spirit that I don’t always know why he puts up with my sarcastic ass, but he does. That is why I asked him to be up there with me.
Bridesmaid
Taylor is a bundle of pure positivity. she makes everyone feel loved and supported in every situation. We met at IUPUI as we both ventured into a new vocational aspiration of being ASL interpreters. She is so sweet, talented and a fantastic dancer (just wait until the reception!) Taylor is always open to try anything new, and is well organized and alltogether 'with it". She exudes confidence and ensures everyone is being safe and having a good time; anyone would be lucky to have a good friend like her ♥️ I'm thrilled she will be standing up there with me on the big day
Groomsman
Taylor is my constant reminder to check my perspective and to have more empathy. He is phenomenal at bringing me out of my own head and changing the angel of thought. He is invaluable as a Teammate. He has an innate ability to win people over and always has a laugh prepared to ease tension. He has a voice for those who cannot speak. He lives the mantra of making the world better for your fellow man. That is why I asked him to be up there with me.
