Flashback already 8 years ago to their first semester at Bloomsburg, in the dining hall. Upon being introduced, Tyler greeted Madison with a very gentleman like handshake which had her mesmerized from the start. Unbeknownst to either of them, that minute would be the start to the rest of their lives. It’s fair to say that neither of them were quite interested at first. Legend has it, Tyler followed up a few times on Madison’s well being through a few mutual friends. Madison was an exemplary student. She took difficult courses, studied long hours and didn’t play video games with her friends until early hours of the morning - she had no time to be interested. Tyler finally made a move and obtained Madison’s number a few weeks later. A few texts, basketball games at the rec, and lunch dates set everything in motion. As the two spent more time together, and got to know each other, Tyler took Madison to a Selinsgrove restaurant for their first date, in his 2001 Chevy S10 that was a stick shift, with no air conditioning. A week later, he snuck Madison home to Kulpmont where they caught the Mt. Carmel Area Red Tornadoes in a Friday night showdown (which they probably won). The hanging out started to become more frequent. Soon thereafter, if you saw Madison, chances are Tyler was close by. On a crisp fall morning, they made the 3 hour drive down Interstate 81 to visit Madison’s family after much warning that it was a lot different than Kulpmont and the quiet Thompson household - and boy was that true. Seeing a house with 4 children, 2 dogs, a pig, 3 chickens and hundreds of cows, ‘different’ was surely an understatement. Little did they know, ‘different’ would soon be their home away from home. Upon conclusion of her 2 year program at Bloomsburg, Madison moved to Philadelphia to finish at Thomas Jefferson University. Quite the move for a girl that was milking cows the summer prior. Tyler was soon to follow after graduation. Eager to get started, the couple moved in together, while Tyler took his first job in Philadelphia and Madison concluded her Raditation Therapy/MRI program. Fast forward 6 years, 3 different apartments, a puppy, a home, countless memories, and a lifetime to look forward to - Madison and Tyler invite you to celebrate their wedding in May of 2025!
