Maid of Honor
Mo and Maddie met in 2019 at Corban University while playing volleyball. They quickly became inseparable, creating countless memories during their time at Corban and beyond. Since 2022, they have been long-distance best friends, keeping in touch through "vlogs" and splitting time between Denver, CO and Vancouver, WA. Mo is thriving as a Game Presentation Coordinator for the Colorado Avalanche hockey team. Maddie wouldn't be where she is without the encouragement of Mo, and is so grateful to have her as her maid of honor on this special day!
Sam Cook
Best Man
Sam is Jack's older brother. Sam and Jack have been each other's "best man" for the entirety of Jack's life. Sam has been there during every big life event, change, and question that Jack has ever had. Being ten years apart, Jack has always looked up to his big bro. They have enjoyed golfing, gaming, and other things alike that have built up a lifetime of memories between the two. It is Jack's honor to have Sam stand beside him as Best Man on his special day.
Hailey Bland
Matron of Honor
Hailey and Maddie met way back in 2016, during Maddie's first visit to Nampa, when she stayed at the Cooks' house! Maddie was a fan-girl, following Hailey's stats throughout her volleyball career at NNU. Maddie's first memory with Hailey is driving to the gym, holding in nervous laughs in the backseat while Hailey drove. Fast forward ten years, and the two are besties! Hailey is an amazing wife, mom of three sweet kids, and ICU nurse in Nampa. Maddie couldn’t be more grateful to be marrying into a family with a built-in sister (and her 16-year-old self is still freaking out!).
Samuel Mark
Best Man
Samuel is Jack's second Best Man. Samuel and Jack have known each other their whole lives, yet did not get close until 7th grade, when they bonded by being forced to hang out by their parents. Shoutout to the parents, because since then they have been by each others side no matter what. Samuel moved away in the middle of 8th grade, yet they stayed as close as ever throughout High School. Their dream of being college roommates came to fruition when they were reunited at NNU and were roommates their freshman year. They are both convinced that no matter how far the distance may become later in life, their bond will remain.
Kaley Weist

Kaley and Maddie were "set up" to be friends by a mutual friend at church...and the rest is history! Since meeting, the two have been dancing and cracking up any chance they get. Though friendship is long distance these days, they've continued to remain close and cheer each other on through the wins and challenges of life. Kaley works in children's ministry and is starting nursing school in Vancouver, WA.
Lane Strand

Lane and Jack met each other during their freshman year of college, when they were teammates on the NNU golf team. Funny enough, Jack and Lane were not very close freshman year until they both had run out of options for roommates for their Sophomore year. Jack reached out to Lane and ever since then, they have been super tight. They enjoy golfing, gaming, and going on food runs no matter the time. They have remained close despite Lane living three and a half hours away, yet every time they see each other they pick up right where they left off.
Hannah Tingley

Hannah is one of Maddie’s longest-standing friends. Since meeting in second grade, the two have been inseparable, sharing years of memories filled with family vacations and endless giggles. They have remained close through every season and change of life. Hannah is a NICU nurse in Vancouver, Washington, where she lives with her husband and son, with another little one arriving VERY soon!
Nathaniel Vasquez

Nat and Jack go way back to when they played sports together in Elementary School - and since then they have been best friends. Jack has vivid memories of hanging out constantly throughout grade school and college. Nat is the epitome of being a consistent friend to Jack, no matter the time or place he is typically down to hang out and be goofy together. They have enjoyed playing sports together and competing, even to this day. Jack is blessed to have a friend like Nathaniel by his side.
Megan Horne

Megan, or Meg Milly, as affectionately called by Maddie (Stim), is one of Maddie's best friends from her years at Lower Columbia College. This duo has lived a lot of life together in their two years of being teammates and roommates. Megan has been a constant source of friendship, encouragement, and spiritual guidance throughout the years, and Maddie is beyond grateful to have her by her side on a day they’ve dreamed about for so long!
Nick Bland
Groomsman
Nick is Jack's brother-in-law, yet you may as well just say they are brothers because no matter the circumstance, they enjoy goofing around with each other and having fun. Jack couldn't have been more fortunate in the brother he inherited, when his sister Hailey married Nick. The Cook family could not imagine a life without Nick. They enjoy hanging out and talking baseball - along with constantly complaining about their favorite teams, the Mariners and Red Sox.
Emma Houck

Emma and Maddie have been friends since their time at Lower Columbia College, back in 2017. In their year as teammates, the two shared many inside jokes, laughs, and dance parties. Being long-distance since 2018, they've kept their friendship alive through visits between Bend, OR & Boise, ID making time to see each other even through the busy seasons of life. Emma is a continual source of encouragement and it's a joy to have her by Maddie's side!
Logan Lawrence

Logan and Jack met freshman year of college. No combo is as goofy or silly as these two, as they have countless memories the last six years. Logan has been someone Jack can always count on giving him a good laugh when he needs it. Jack is very confident that no matter where life takes us, we will be there for each other and always cherish the past they have with each other.
Taylor Cook

Taylor is the wife of Sam Cook, Jack's older brother. Sam and Taylor have been a source of friendship and encouragement during Maddie and Jack's seasons of dating and engagement. Taylor is another blessing of joining the Cook family and gaining another sister, along with some adorable nieces and nephews! Taylor works passionately in family justice, and is an amazing wife and mom to three (including two brand new twins)!
Cade Foster

Cade and Jack also met freshman year of college and have been good friends since. Cade is someone that Jack looks up to, someone who has wisdom beyond his years. Cade also is one of the funniest people Jack knows. This friendship is something Jack will always cherish and he feels very blessed to have been lucky enough for Cade to randomly be put on the same wing as him freshman year of college.
Lindsay Balkenbush

Lindsay and Maddie met at Boise run club on Maddie’s third day living in Idaho! The two became roommates and adventure buddies soon after. Through their year of adventures the two shared many laughs, some tears, and then found their “guys” at the same time. Lindsay has been a highlight of Maddie’s time in Boise & it’s a joy to have her part of this day!
Dan Castledine

Dan and Jack go back all the way since birth, where their families were good friends. Jack has vivid memories of going down the road to Dan's house where they would swim, play pool, and have epic wiffle ball battles. They have stayed close ever since, and were lucky enough to be reunited in High School where they competed with each other and have countless memories with Nat. Jack is super excited to have Dan by his side on his special day, and know that no matter what they are always going to be good friends.
Smith Stimmel

Smith is Maddie's younger brother, best friend, and "first child". Over the years, Maddie and Smith have shared countless laughs, memories, and inside jokes (which they've had to teach Jack). Smith has been a highlight of Maddie's growing-up years and has set the bar high when it comes to who Maddie would spend the rest of her life with. Smith is an amazing brother to Maddie, and will be a great addition as Jack's brother-in-law. We are so grateful to have him stand with us today!

Ava is Jack and Maddie’s first niece and the daughter of Hailey and Nick Bland. She is spunky, funny, and the best big sister. It would only be right to have her with us on this special day!

Ari is the (current) youngest cousin and soon to be big sis! She is sweet, silly, and has the best smile. We can’t wait to see her and her favorite person, cousin Ava, down the aisle!
