Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Madilynn Batman and Brindan Novak
Here we have listed some of our favorite restaurants and activities to do while you’re in Boise! Check out each one for more info and our recommendations for each location!
Dutch Bros

Dutch Bros

2630 Broadway Avenue, Boise, ID 83706

How could or first recommendation not be this place? It’s where we met! If you’re not looking for a quick drive-thru-bumping-tunes-upbeat coffee experience then you’ll want to steer clear of Dutch. While it’s not super fancy shmancy coffee, the experience is what draws people to this place. Stop through and experience the fun atmosphere that helped us fall in love. Recommendations: honey americano with cream (Madi), White Russian mocha (Brindan).

Java

Java

223 North 6th Street, Boise, ID 83702

Looking for a more casual coffee shop? Java is Madi’s favorite spot! Grab a cup of joe here before hitting the 8th Street Market on Saturday morning! There is something for everyone here. Recommendation: Bowl of Soul and avocado toast.

Big City Coffee and Cafe

Big City Coffee and Cafe

1416 West Grove Street, Boise, ID 83702
, (208) 345-3145

Do you love breakfast pastries the size of your face? Then Big City is the place for you!! Their scones and muffins are TO DIE FOR. But, if large-and-in-charge pastries aren’t your thing, then they have a great menu of delicious breakfast foods!

The Original Sunrise Cafe

The Original Sunrise Cafe

4218 West Overland Road, Boise, ID 83705
, (208) 343-2044

Everyone loves a small diner with delicious food for breakfast! This one does not disappoint (especially with their great gluten free pancakes)! Find all your traditional breakfast foods in a quaint setting. Recommendations: Classic 2 Egg Breakfast with pancakes.

Fork

Fork

199 North 8th Street, Boise, ID 83702
, (208) 287-1700

This restaurant is a delicious place to go for dinner! Located right downtown it’s in the middle of all the buzz. Recommendation: Shannon (father of the bride) LOVES their wedge salad.

Lucky Fins Seafood Grill - Boise

Lucky Fins Seafood Grill - Boise

Boise, ID 83702
, (208) 888-3467

This amazing restaurant is Brindan and Madi’s most frequented date night location. Hit happy hour and their amazing rolls are buy one, get one half off! Start off with their appetizer nachos and you’re in for a great meal. Recommended rolls: Mango Tango (Madi’s favorite), the Dragon with extra eel sauce (Brindan’s favorite).

Big Bun Drive In

Big Bun Drive In

5816 West Overland Road, Boise, ID 83709
, (208) 376-9200

Looking for a quick bite? Then Big Bun is the place for you! Madi and Brindan stop here quite frequently (especially since they have gluten free for Madi). Their burgers are delicious, milk shakes to die for, and French fries never fail to impress! Recommendation: Classic #1 with fries and drink of preference.

The STIL

The STIL

786 West Broad Street, Boise, ID 83702
, (208) 809-8888

If you know anything about Madi, you know she loves ice cream - especially when there’s a dairy free option! Even more so, she LOVES booze infused AND dairy free ice cream. Not looking for dessert? They have a lot of good beer and wine on tap! This is her favorite one stop ice cream stop! Recommendation: Cookies with Grandma + featured booze infused flavor.
