Due to the nature of a destination wedding, we are asking that all RSVPs be filled out ASAP via our wedding website. Please be sure to fill out your RSVP regardless if you are able to attend or not.
The dress code for the day of the wedding will be beach formal. The dress code for the welcome party, the night before the wedding, will be beach cocktail. Being in a tropical location, we would love to see you in your bright colors and fun patterns, but please steer clear of flip-flops or shorts for the ceremony. Also, please no white cream, or light toned dresses at any wedding events.
We love your children, but unfortunately with all wedding events being held at Excellence El Carmen, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding. Please take this time to enjoy an adults-only vacation.
Please book all accommodations through our travel agent at no additional cost. She will take care of all resort reservations, flights, airport transfers, and any additional services or excursions. Her information is under the "Travel" tab.
While the deadline for RSVPs is soon, the deadline to book the resort is November 20th, 2024. Again, please contact Janet Penyak for booking reservations. Note: Although you must reserve your room by November 20th, you will not be charged until 30 days prior to arrival. Please remember with this being a resort, there are only a certain number of rooms within each category. This specific resort does book up quickly, so reservations made early are more likely to be able to accommodate room preferences.
Yes, Excellence El Carmen does require each guest to stay at the resort for a minimum of 3 nights. You are welcome to stay longer if you would like!
We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I Do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos you'd like!
