Question

What time zone is the venue and surrounding areas located in?

Answer

The venue and all events are happening on Central Standard Time.

Question

I'd love to stay on-site what should I expect?

Answer

Once all RSVPs are submitted & the accommodations Google form has been filled out, we will be putting together lodging assignments based on preferences. We selected a venue that allowed for us to have lodging accommodations onsite so that all of our guests could spend time with us throughout the weekend (quality time is our love language)! Tent camping will be set up across the property, but within very close proximity to the bath house. There are very limited camper spots with water & electric hookups, but there are openings for those who want to bring/rent an RV/Camper without hookups or with a quiet generator. All cabins are hand built with cedar by the properties' original owner. These cabins range in size and amenities, check them out here- https://twinlakescountrycabins.com/cabin-rentals.

Question

What airport(s) are most convenient to the venue?

Answer

There are three airports within 3 hours of the venue. - Louisville International Airport (SDF)- 78 miles (1 hour and 15 minutes) - Indianapolis International Airport (IND)- 145 miles (2 hours and 45 minutes) - Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)- 166 miles (2 hours and 30 minutes)

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

All parking is located a short walk from the cabins, there are unloading zones in front of the cabins but for parking overnight/throughout the weekend there is a designated area.

Question

What do I wear for the ceremony and reception on Saturday?

Answer

We know that camping is not always conducive for looking runway ready... but do not stress there will be plenty of space for everyone to get ready (even if you are not staying in a cabin there will be space for you to get ready inside!). Dress is casual- we want our guests to be comfortable and not feel as though they need to buy something special. Men attire ideas: chino pants, khakis, or nice jeans with a golf polo, button down, or nice shirt. Women attire ideas: flowy dress, romper, jumpsuit, jeans or pants with a nice shirt. Sandals or flat shoes are encouraged, we do not recommend heels due to the gravel and grass. As always, please do not wear white, that will be reserved for the bride!

Question

Can I come for the ceremony & reception only?

Answer

Yes, of course! We understand that not everyone will be able to stay the weekend with us. We are grateful for any amount of time we get to spend with our close family and friends.

Question

Can I stay onsite for just Saturday night?

Answer

Yes! However, we prioritize cabin space for guests who plan to come for both nights. But no worries, we would love to have you for Saturday night and are thankful you plan to spend some extra time with us!

For all the days along the way
