Please arrive at the ceremony site at 3:30pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm.

While we will be staying at Edgewood, we have a options available to our guests. Please refer to our Travel section.

August is a beautiful time of year to enjoy the best of Lake Tahoe. The average temperatures are in the 80s. For daytime activities – light outdoor wear is best and it’s always a good idea to have a jacket. Evenings cool down and overnight lows are in the 60s.

As much as we'd love to include all your kiddos, we'd prefer you keep them home or at the hotel during the reception. We hope that you can enjoy the night off! We have a number of folks arranging for childcare at the hotel during the reception, so sitter-sharing may be an option if appropriate. Please reach out if this is something you'd like to explore!

As much as we'd love to include all your dates, this venue caps guests at a certain number. Please only bring a date if you were provided a +1 with your invitation.

We will have shuttles available to our guests home from the reception. Please refer to our Travel section for more details on transportation options available to you based on where you are staying.

What considerations should we make for travel given that it's Labor Day Weekend?What considerations should we make for travel given that it's Labor Day Weekend?

Answer

Labor Day Weekend is the best long weekend to be in Lake Tahoe due to the idyllic weather and as such is one of the busiest weekends on the lake. Crowds & traffic shouldn't be an issue for anyone choosing to stay with us at the resort, although for our guests who are choosing to stay off-site please allow for additional travel time as there may be traffic and difficulty finding parking.
