Daniel and I met in PE class in the sixth grade. We were both twelve and became friends instantly. He started to have a little crush on me but I did not feel the same way nor did I know he felt this way until years later. All throughout middle school and high school we had classes together. It wasn’t until eleventh grade I started to develop feelings for Daniel. I didn’t want to because I didn’t want to ruin our friendship. I cherished it. It wasn’t until Daniel told me he loved me that I realized I felt the same. I told him let’s make it official and he asked me out the day before school let out for summer. Senior year we had picked the same exact classes and had the same exact schedule. We were inseparable. We were steady for three years. After high school Daniel enlisted in the Army and I went off to college at UCA. Long distance was hard and we eventually broke up. We were both heartbroken but knew it what was best at the time. Two whole years passed and we hadn’t spoken until Daniel decided to message me on Instagram. He was casual but wanted to hang out and catch up. I was hesitant but eventually caved in. We met at Mills Park and talked for three hours. We picked up right where we left off. It didn’t feel like two years had passed since we last talked. It felt right. Ever since then we haven’t missed a beat. He’s always had my heart and always will. He’s my best friend. My rock. My confidant. Fast forward a bit and we decided moved in together in the midst of a pandemic. Almost two years later, Daniel proposed to me in Central Park while we were on vacation in NYC. It was so sweet and he enlisted the help from my family to ensure it was perfect. We have decided to take each other’s hand in marriage on December 3rd, 2022. We’d love to have our family and friends there celebrating with us. Our Happily Ever After.
