NOTE: There are a LOT of private third party companies offering to fast track your visa, but please do not provide your personal information to them. Make sure you go through the government of India website at: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/index.html Expect delays & changes with all of this so I highly advise planning ahead and confirming the process with your consulate in advance!

The city is really easy to get around - but try to travel in groups or pairs and make sure you take tours with tour groups. Make sure you eat carefully, streetside vendors not recommended - and always drink bottled water!
