The JC Raulston Arboretum is a nationally acclaimed botanic garden located in Raleigh, North Carolina with one of the largest and most diverse collections of landscape plants adapted for landscape use in the southeast United States. Free and open to the public every day of the year.

Burial Beer Co. Raleigh Taproom

Great beer + great art! Adorned with a variety of large, framed artwork by Burial’s artist David Paul Seymour, The Exhibit is located adjacent to downtown Raleigh’s Transfer Co. Food Hall.

We had our second date here, where Ted impressively managed to lose countless rounds of Street Fighter against me!

Poole's

426 South McDowell Street, Raleigh, NC 27601

If you’re looking for a great dinner spot while in town, check out Poole’s Diner, a beloved local favorite. It’s where we shared our last meal before getting engaged, so it holds a special place in our hearts. Be sure to book a reservation in advance!

William B. Umstead State Park

8801 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27617

William B. Umstead State Park features an extensive network of hiking and multiuse trails, as well as three manmade lakes.

Lonnie Poole Golf Course
