Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
Our ceremony will take place at 4:15 PM outside on the grounds at the The Umstead Hotel. A formal cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony. We kindly ask that you arrive by 4:00 PM to allow time for seating before the ceremony starts. Complimentary valet parking will be available for all wedding guests.
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Join us on the Umstead terrace overlooking the lake for cocktails after the ceremony! There will be several hors d'oeuvres in addition to cocktails.
6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Join us at our onsite reception for dinner, drinks, and dancing! Our reception will feature a seasonal menu created by the award-winning team that led The Umstead's signature restaurant, Herons, to national acclaim. A full dinner service will be provided along with complimentary liquor, beer, and wine!
