The event will be outside on a deck overlooking the water. It will include one cocktail, an appetizer, a main entree, dessert, and soda/water. After the dinner we were going to have a free dance lesson at the restaurant for anyone that wants to learn some Colombian dances! Compartiremos una cena de bienvenida. El evento va ser afuera con vista al mar. Incluye un cocktail, un aperitivo, plato principal, postre, y agua/gaseosa.

Please wear comfortable cloths for a day of boating and swimming
Please meet at the Marina (address above) at 8:45 am. Remember to bring sun protection (sunscreen, hats, sunglasses), bug spray, cash, snacks, towels goggles/snorkel (optional). Water and coolers with ice will be provided. The marina does not allow outside food/drink but there is a store within the marina to buy snacks/drinks. The tour will consist of 2 stops: Playa Cinto and Bahia Concha. The second stop will have restaurant options where people can buy whatever food they want. The cost per person is $50USD/person. Additionally, there is a 15,000 peso marina entrance fee that you will need to pay upon arrival. Please remember to bring pesos for a tip for the boat crew, entrance fee, and if you want to buy food at the restaurants. Recuerda traer bloqueador solar, repelente amigable con el medio ambiente, dinero en efectivo, agua. El tour tendra opciones de comida incluyendo vegetariano. El costo de esta experiencia esta por definirse. Rango de precio entre $40-60 dolares por persona.

Wedding Destination Beach Attire
Please arrive by 4:00 pm to allow for time to find your seats and get settled so the ceremony can begin by 5 pm. We are requesting that the ceremony is unplugged, meaning that people do not have their phones out at all (including for photos) during the ceremony. Please no shorts, jeans, flip flops, tank tops, t-shirts, or sneakers. Only short sleeved dress shirts are allowed. Men: the Colombian Guayabera is recommended which consists of a light colored button up dress shirt usually paired with a light colored pant. Women: flowly midi/maxi dresses or dressy jumpsuits. Please try to avoid wearing all purple or white dresses since those are the colors of the wedding. Por favor no shorts, jeans, chanclas, camisetas o tenis. Se puede usar camisas manga larga o manga corta. Hombres: Se recomienda guayabera y pantalon claro Mujeres: Se recomienda vestidos largos midi/maxi. Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour are on the beach and the reception is upstairs in the outdoor courtyard with a compacted stone/concrete floor. We recommend to avoid wearing stiletto heels.

This day is a day to rest and relax after a night of celebrating! We have Casa Kapikua rented for Sunday night also, so Daniel and I will most likely just be lounging at the house. Anyone is welcome to come over and hang out by the pool or beach!

Daniel and I will be traveling to Cartagena to spend several days after the wedding. If you would like to travel with us, please let us know so we can book transport to accommodate everyone. It is approximately a 3.5-4.5 hour drive from Santa Marta to Cartagena.
