We're getting married!

Mac and Maddie met three years ago on a dating app after they swore it was their last time on one of these apps. At the time, Maddie was a single mom to an 11 month old baby boy, Beckham. Once they had their first date they pretty much knew right away. Mac and Maddie's third date was Mac’s family Thanksgiving dinner! A few weeks later, Mac met Beckham for the first time at Schellville Christmas Village in Delaware. Mac and Maddie dated long distance (an hour and ten minutes), taking turns traveling to and from Lancaster, PA to Newark, DE every weekend for over a year. Last January they decided to buy a house together in Lancaster, PA. They have enjoyed renovating their historic townhouse with the help of family and friends. When Maddie finished up her undergraduate studies in May, she and Beckham moved into their new home. In October, Mac and Maddie visited Lexington, VA for one of Mac's fraternity brother’s weddings. Mac attended Washington and Lee College in Lexington, VA for his undergraduate studies. While walking around campus on the morning of October 12th, Mac proposed in front of Lee Chapel, on campus. They have experienced some amazing things in life together including raising a child, graduation, being accepted in law school, buying a house, and getting engaged. Now they are able to experience the joy of marriage! Their story is less than traditional, but they love it!
