Madeline and Londen first met each other in high school when they had a class together. There were definitely sparks between the two, but they did not pursue anything more than being classmate crushes. Londen reached out to Madeline six years after high school, both incredibly anxious at the prospect of a first date, they excitedly agreed to meet at Casey Moore's for a drink. Time figuratively (and what felt like literally) stood still, and a quick meet-up found themselves quietly falling in love only moments after laying eyes on each other. It was the best first date.

The plan was that Londen and Madeline were going to go to a nice dinner to celebrate her birthday. While she started getting ready, Londen opened up the bottle of champagne they brought home from their first trip together, and poured two glasses. As Madeline was finishing up, she came out to the living room ready to leave, and Londen was sitting on the couch with the champagne. While they were sitting together, Londen told Madeline how he wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Londen got down on one knee, and asked Madeline to marry him. Shortly after, to Madeline's surprise, both of their families were at their front door. The night was filled with love and they all spent an amazing weekend in Florida celebrating their engagement.
