This is always fun to do when coming to Nashville during the holidays! There are plenty of places to eat indoors, drink, and enjoy the indoor gardens/observatory. The Christmas lights are always nice and they even have ice skating, hot chocolate, and ICE themed exhibit based around The Peanuts Classic Cartoon. You can stay on property and extend your time out to enjoy the holidays if you're needing a trip post wedding!
Sprawling 1930s estate with an art museum & picturesque botanical gardens, plus a cafe & gift shop. The Estate is decorated over the holidays with lights, hot chocolate, and a beautiful historical/art gallery house tour.
If you are looking to have a little more fun before or post wedding, Broadway st. is a place to dance, drink, and explore. Madeline recommends not going super hard the night before the wedding-but would suggest checking out the Christmas pop up bars going on in the area!
If you need a little time outside the city and are wanting to enjoy a hallmark Christmas feeling, head to Franklin just outside of Nashville. They film many Hallmark movies here (mostly during the summer), but with cute shops, bookstores, cafes, and small town restaurants it's a nice place to be. Madeline recommends checking out: Biscuit Love Franklin (https://www.biscuitlove.com/ ) highly recommend!
The Bride Highly recommends if you have the time to stop down and get breakfast or lunch at the Loveless Cafe and Motel! It is a Nashville staple and one the bride will go to on special occasions. It is a little out of the way but if you have the time, try it out!
Check out 12 south and the Frothy Monkey! 12 South is close to Lipscomb University to visit the campus to walk around. Check out Reese Witherspoons store 'Draper James' located right across from Frothy Monkey and lots of stores and Boutiques!
Classy cafe with pink-tinged decor known for coffee and cocktails alongside other drinks and eats. The Cafe is connected to the historical Hermitage hotel- the Bride recommends checking out the lobby and going downstairs to the famous Green mens bathroom and Pink ladies bathroom- just ask employees and they are used to guests inquiring about the others bathrooms haha
So you like Jazz?! One of the bride and Grooms first date nights and a key moment in their relationship! Lovely time to get a table, a glass of wine, and listen to some jazz.
