Maid of Honor
Sydney and Maddie met at graduate school orientation in August 2018 and have been pals ever since. They have shared many a trip to Ocean City and love sharing a beverage in the Assawoman Bay. She has always been a kind, reliable, and fun friend. We love spending time with the whole Bentz family. Her friendship has been such a blessing to us and easily one of the best parts of graduate school, was meeting Sydney.
Bridesmaid
Maddie also met Grace at graduate school orientation, and she took Maddie and Sydney out for a fun day in Georgetown to celebrate Maddie’s 22nd birthday. They’ve been great friends ever since! We recently had the pleasure of attending Grace's PhD dissertation defense where she wowed us all with her biochemistry and molecular biology knowledge. Dr. Grace, her husband John, and their sweet baby girl are some of our favorite people. Grace is easy to love and has a contagious laugh. We're very thankful for the Lunde family!
Bridesmaid
Ali and Grace went to college together, and we met Ali and her husband, Jake, through Grace and John. It’s been a pleasure getting to know them over the past few years and becoming friends as real adults! We love spending time with them and their dog, Rocko. Their home is a cozy place where we love hanging out, most recently for an A+ Friendsgiving meal.
Bridesmaid
Emma and Maddie went to middle school and high school together and reconnected after Emma moved to DC following her work in the Peace Corps. Maddie and Emma spent many a sleepover together as kids and now enjoy catching up over dinner and a glass of wine. She is a very special friend and always so supportive and kind! There are few people in life who stick around for so many phases, and it's special remaining friends as adults and reminiscing about our home town.
Bridesmaid
Anna and Maddie have known each other since before they can remember. One of Maddie's first memories is when Anna fell off the monkey bars and had to get stitches in her chin. We have spent many a “Fagerli Family Fun Weekend” together and many Christmas’s playing kick the can. Her family has welcomed Campbell with open arms, and he is a new drinking buddy. It’s been so special to grow up together and remain friends as adults. Anna is one of the nicest and most fun people to be around!
Bridesmaid
Caroline is Campbell’s older sister and Maddie’s future “sister in love.” Maddie can’t wait to officially become family and have a sibling! It’s already been fun for Maddie having Caroline to share secrets and giggles with over the past few years. Campbell remembers texting Caroline the day after meeting Maddie that he had met a really nice girl from Harrisonburg, while Caroline was living in Harrisonburg. We look forward to making more memories as a family in the future!
Best Man
After being set up by their dads during their freshman year at UR, who'd been good friends during their time at UR, Ben & Campbell quickly became friends. They bonded over a love of bad DC sports teams and live music. They’ve enjoyed many music festivals, concerts, Commanders games, and weekends in Bethany Beach sipping seabreaks together. Ben has become one of Campbell’s closest friends.
Groomsman
Zander and Campbell also met freshman year at the University of Richmond, and shared houses for the final two years. A mutual love of the outdoors, DC sports, live music and mashed potatoes forged a strong bond between the pair. Campbell looks forward to having the Zan Man at his side on his wedding day.
Groomsman
Campbell and Jack also met freshman year at the University of Richmond and grew closer every year. They ended up being housemates their senior year. Campbell and the rest of the house were very thankful to have “Chef Bauer” living across from the kitchen. After an impromptu speedo clad photo shoot together on the beach in Jamaica, Campbell knew Bauer would one day be a part of his wedding.
Groomsman
One of the biggest benefits of the time Maddie and Campbell spent in College Park was getting to meet some great friends. John and Grace are some of those friends. If anyone needs a flashlight or knife during the ceremony, John will be well equipped. He also fries a mean turkey. John even received Maddie’s engagement ring and held onto it for Campbell so that Maddie could not snoop and find it.
Groomsman
Campbell met Jake through John and quickly realized he liked Jake’s vibe. They enjoy sharing a casual pint and are both very fond of Korean bbq, especially the soju. It took lots of treats and bribes, but Campbell has won over Jake’s loyal companion, Rocko.
Groomsman
Eric was another pleasant surprise from College Park that we met through Grace and John. He has many hidden talents and frequently shows up to gatherings with delicious home-made baked goods. Eric always brings a positive outlook and looks great in a Santa costume.
Groomsman
Tim and Campbell grew up in Crown Grant together, going to the same church, elementary, middle, and high schools. One day during play group before going to Kindergarten, they danced around Tim’s house on all fours to “Who Let The Dogs Out” by the Baha Men. It was at that time Campbell knew the day would come when Tim would be in his wedding party.
Groomsman
Franklin and Campbell have been lifelong friends. They grew up swimming together and reunited in high school playing football and lacrosse. The pair’s bond was heavily solidified when a preschool aged Campbell and Frank were left unattended in a car in Campbell’s driveway. When their moms returned, they found Franklin and Campbell in the driver & passenger seats. They had put the car into drive and driven through Campbell’s fence. Campbell is excited to plow into this next chapter of life with Franklin by his side.
