Is there a dress code?

Can I bring a date or plus one?

We'd love to celebrate with everyone, but guests are reserved for those listed on the invitation/response page, please refrain from bringing friends and/or casual dates.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle available from the hotels on our "Travel" page that will travel to Early Mountain Vineyards, and then be available to take people back after the party ends at eleven forty five. Please let us know if you plan to use the shuttle when you RSVP so we can make sure there is room for everyone. We will be in the country, so ride shares (Uber, Lyft, etc.) may not be available.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There will be plenty of parking available if you plan to carpool, but for those who intend to fully-enjoy the open bar, a shuttle will be provided to and from the hotels listed on the “Travel” page. We love you all, please no drinking and driving. Let's celebrate & be safe!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love kids, we thought you might like a night off! To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely ask you take into consideration that the reception will be catered to adults over 18 with limited activities for children. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Please RSVP by April 27, 2024 so we have time to plan a fun event for everyone!

Answer

Please visit our "Travel" page for information regarding our hotel-room blocks. In addition to the Holiday Inn - Ruckersville and Draftsman, there are several other lovely hotels in Charlottesville to chose from. There are several hotels near the Draftsman including the Quirk, Residence Inn by Marriott, and Fairfield Inn and Suites among others.
