There is so much to do in the north woods! We have collected a list of activities and a few restaurants to help you plan your trip. If you're looking for lots of extra activities, we suggest staying near Duluth/Superior for proximity. There are lots of beautiful forests for hiking, as well as plenty of quaint towns with museums and shops. Maddie grew up going to Hayward, and we highly recommend that you check out downtown Hayward if possible during your stay. Our recommendations are organized by proximity to the venue, then Duluth/Superior activities, general Hayward area activities, and then a handful of restaurant recommendations in Duluth and near the venue. Lake Superior Scenic Byway

Take a leisurely drive along the shore of Lake Superior for stunning views, beautiful fall colors, and small-town charm.

Brule River State Forest

Located not far from Solon Springs, the Brule River offers excellent water sports opportunities and a serene environment to enjoy nature.

Aerial Lift Bridge

A visit to Canal Park offers a scenic lakeside experience with shops, restaurants, and a view of the Aerial Lift Bridge, which raises and lowers to allow ships to pass into the harbor.
