Please RSVP by May 15th, 2021 so we can plan on celebrating with you! Our RSVP page will become live after formal invitations are sent.
We have been working closely with Rancho Bernardo Inn to ensure we are following their extensive safety protocols throughout the weekend. To learn more about their resort-wide COVID policies, feel free to check out the RBI website here: https://www.ranchobernardoinn.com/stay/covid-19 For our ceremony and reception, we want to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. Both our ceremony and dinner will take place outside and we will be following the guidance of the resort to ensure safety guidelines are met. Dancing will take place indoors, however, our outdoor space will be available to guests throughout the event for those who do not feel comfortable in an indoor setting. We are hopeful that as vaccines become more available, restrictions will become less rigid, but we will of course keep you updated with any new information between now and June 27! If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
The dress code is Garden Cocktail Attire. We suggest lightweight summer cocktail dresses and grass-appropriate shoes for women, and suit or sport coat for men. Ties optional.
We would love to see our youngest family members/ friends for the weekend, but our ceremony and reception will be adults-only (or young-adults 12+). If you are planning to bring your whole family along, we have researched some awesome childcare options to make it as easy as possible. You are more than welcome to hire your own sitter, or use one of the providers recommended by the hotel.
San Diego is known as being sunny and beautiful pretty much all year round! However, the month of June tends to be a bit cooler ("June Gloom") due to the marine layer. We would recommend packing layers, and definitely some light sweaters or jackets for the evening as it tends to get chilly (although we are complete wimps now from living in San Diego for 7+ years!) Also, be sure to bring a bathing suit if you're planning to spend time at the pool or beach!
We are registered right here through Zola, which means we were able to pick items from lots of stores. In addition, there is an option to contribute to our honeymoon fund!
All of our festivities will be held at Rancho Bernardo Inn, so you will not need to arrange for transportation between venues. We would recommend getting a rental car if you plan to do other activities around San Diego, as San Diego is not very public-transport-friendly. Uber is also always available!
Ranch Bernardo Inn is offering complimentary valet parking for guests who are visiting only for the ceremony. If you are a guest of the hotel, there is both valet and complimentary self-parking available.
Rancho Bernardo Inn has a championship golf course, three pools, and multiple restaurants. They also offer a full-service spa. Wedding guests will receive a 10% discount on all spa treatments during the weekend, so be sure to mention you are a guest of the Young/ Lambka wedding when booking!
Nate has organized a morning golf game for all guests who would like to participate. Tee times start at 9:00am, at $103 per person. The RSVP for golf will be included with the invitations and then everyone will be grouped into tee times. If you have any preferences on groupings feel free to text Nate at 619-818-6771.
Please let us know if you have a food allergy, and we will notify the hotel!
Madeline and Nate are limited in our guest number, so you are only able to bring a guest if your Wedding Invitation Envelope is addressed with 'and guest.' Thank you for understanding!
