FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 12th so we can have an accurate headcount for our vendors. You can easily respond right here on our website by clicking the RSVP tab!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. We recommend arriving between 2:30 PM and 2:45 PM to ensure you have plenty of time to find parking, grab a seat, and settle in before the processional begins.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, Black-Tie. Women should wear floor-length gowns or formal dresses and men should wear tuxes with black neckties or bowties.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing shuttle transportation for our guests from The Palmer House hotel. Shuttle schedules and pickup times will be finalized closer to the wedding date, so please check back here for updates. Please note: The trolleys on-site are reserved exclusively for the wedding party and family.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have negotiated room blocks at a few of our favorite hotels nearby to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You can find all the direct booking links, group codes, and nightly rates right here on the Travel tab. We recommend booking early to secure the discounted rate!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, options vary by location: The Ceremony: There is a dedicated parking lot available right at Saint Clement Church for those driving. The Reception: Valet parking is available at the University Club of Chicago. Our Recommendation: Because the University Club is downtown, we highly recommend taking an Uber/Lyft or utilizing our guest shuttle running out of The Palmer House so you don't have to worry about parking or valet!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have chosen to make our wedding day an adults-only event. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please indicate your allergy when your RSVP.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our goal is to keep our celebration intimate with our closest family and friends. Therefore, we can only accommodate guests who are formally listed on the invitation envelope. Thank you for respecting our numbers!
