Unfortunately no, pre-wedding events like the Drinks Thing on Thursday and Welcome Party on Friday are held at venues with a strict 21+ policy, even during private events. That being said, we are working on a list of vetted babysitting providers so that adults can come enjoy the early arrival events and have peace of mind that the kiddos are in good hands back at your hotel or vacation home rental. While children are allowed at the Wedding, if you'd like these services for any of the Saturday events, that can also be arranged. Please reach out to us directly at madeeandmarcin@gmail.com if you anticipate needing these services on Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday nights.

"Cowboy Cocktail Attire" refers to a dress code that combines the elegance of traditional cocktail attire with Western-inspired elements like cowboy boots, hats, and accessories, essentially meaning you should dress up with a distinct "country" flair while maintaining a polished look. Aim for a balance between polished and rustic, avoiding overly casual clothing like ripped jeans or overly flashy outfits. A VISUAL GUIDE CAN BE FOUND HERE: https://www.zola.com/wedding/madeeandmarcin/photo IDEAS FOR MEN: A nice button-down shirt, dress pants or dark jeans, a stylish western-style belt with a large buckle, a sport coat (optional), cowboy boots, and a cowboy hat (optional). Bolo ties or large silver cufflinks can be a nice touch. IDEAS FOR WOMEN: A dressy skirt or dress, a nice blouse, a statement belt with a western buckle, cowboy boots, and potentially a small western-style hat. Incorporate fabrics like leather, suede, or nice denim and subtle western details like fringe, embroidery, or pearl snaps for a refined look. Western-inspired jewelry like turquoise pieces can add to the look.
A VISUAL GUIDE CAN BE FOUND HERE: https://www.zola.com/wedding/madeeandmarcin/photo "Black Tie Optional Attire" guidance provided by VOGUE (https://www.vogue.com/slideshow/dear-alex-black-tie-optional-wedding-dress-code): Black tie optional is when a couple wants their wedding to look like and be a formal affair—but understands that implies fancier (and often more expensive) attire for guests. So, while they hope guests will dress in black tie, they’re also giving people more aesthetic leeway to avoid any undue stress or burden to those who may not be able to wear a tuxedo or evening gown. “Black tie optional to me means the couple does want black tie but doesn't want to pressure their guests to wear tuxedos and evening gowns since those tend to be more of an investment. So when the dress code calls for black tie optional, feel free to go all out,” bridal stylist Anny Choi tells Vogue. GUIDANCE FOR MEN: Men should wear a tuxedo if they have one. If they don’t, they should go for a black or navy suit with a tie. GUIDANCE FOR WOMEN: A floor-length dress is preferred for adult women. However, it is acceptable to wear a cocktail dress that is midi or knee length—especially for those in their teens or younger. “I would try to wear floor-length dresses if possible,” Choi says. “If this is not an option, put in an effort and dress up your look with the right accessories. If your dress is on the shorter side, or if you opt for a jumpsuit or pants, make sure your shoes feel dressy–this doesn't necessarily mean heels; an embellished flat or sharp lace-up oxfords could be appropriate options too.” WHAT NOT TO WEAR: Day dresses and sandals are a "no" for women, khaki slacks are a "no" for men. “Cotton or linen sundresses will look out of place, opt for silks, chiffons, or taffeta and, for shoes, avoid day sandals, raffia wedges, and so on."
