I met Maddy in 2019 while we were working together at Camp Haccamo, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. From coffee runs and car karaoke to the most important and hardest moments in life, we’ve always shown up for each other. Maddy has stood beside me through some of my best and darkest times, and I’m endlessly grateful for her friendship. I feel so lucky to stand by her side as her Maid of Honor and celebrate this beautiful chapter of her life.

I’ve known Peter since I was 4 years old. We’ve been through everything life can throw at someone. We’ve had many amazing times together at work and at play. It means a lot to me to be in the wedding. The union of two families is a big commitment to the family’s and the couple. I have been granted the opportunity to be Peter’s best man. Which is scary because I must do the whole get up Infront of everyone thing. I think I’ll lead with I can’t believe someone took longer to get married than me!

9 summers ago I met Maddy, 6 summers ago she stood by my side as one of 2 witnesses to my own wedding, 4 summers ago she supported me as I became a mother for the first time (see the ring bearer), last summer she supported me as I became a mother again. I cannot think of a more exciting way to start this summer, than standing by Maddy’s side as she marries Peter! Watching these two people fall in love and push each other to become the best versions of themselves has been such a privilege to witness, and im without words to describe how excited I am to stand with them as they share a bit of their love with all of us.

As an adolescent, my brother, Pete, would occasionally let me tag along with him and his friends, and it was during those moments that, afterwards, I would walk away a little bit wiser and a little more mature. I remember how Pete would subtly challenge me on things I said by using the Socratic Method—whether he knew he was doing it or not. Those conversations were always meaningful to a kid who lost his father. Looking back, I am deeply grateful to him for patiently guiding me, a brother seven years his junior, through the chaos but defining years of youth. Without him, I would not be half the person I am today.

Hey! I’m Cassie, one of Maddy’s best & oldest friends! We’ve known each other since we were 7, kicking soccer balls together on the Henrietta town park fields! Through elementary school to now together-we’ve seen each other at our best & worst moments but have loved and supported each other the same throughout it all. Trying to pick my favorite memory together is tough but if I had to pick a favorite, it’d definitely be camping together back in 2021 where we encountered a family of raccoons and my husband tried to defend Maddy by scaring the raccoons away from her tent and ended up scaring her instead! I’m so honored to be chosen as a bridesmaid & can’t wait to be standing beside her on her big day 💗

I have known Peter pretty much my entire life, being close in age and family members we became fast friends. Spending the majority of our free time together; playing games, working, or in our later years partying! Peter became like a brother to me. As life gets busier and busier, finding time to hang out becoming more and more difficult, I often think back on those "Good old days" and miss the late nights, fights, and passing out on uncomfortable couches. Thank you Peter for letting me part of your life and part of your wonderful wedding day.

We quickly bonded over our shared sense of humor, similar interests, and the many stories that come from life behind — and in front of — the bar. Over time, Peter became a truly dear friend, and I’m honored to stand by his side as a groomsman. I look forward to celebrating this incredible day with everybody!

Peter and I have an early friendship. It’s young and full of life. We connected first over Mortal Combat and gummy bears the cartoon show. Then modeled it together to make. Mortal Kombat gummy bears edition. Our friendship turned to brotherhood in that instance ❤️
