Peter and Maddy first met when Maddy would come in with friends to Back to My Place before Covid. They went their separate ways for about two years and were brought back together. When Maddy needed a place to live she moved in with Peter’s sister Nikki not knowing this decision would change her life. This would lead to a dinner where she reconnected with Peter. That following Sunday, they had their first date where they talked so much they forgot to eat the cheesecake they had gotten for dessert. From that day on the two were inseparable. From dancing at each other, to hours binging Below Deck, to trading off who was injured, the two found ways to smile through all their luck tossed at them. Almost three years later, Peter arrived from work to their annual Friendsgiving gathering and tumbled over. When Maddy went to check on him he got on his knee and asked “I heard you’ve been wanting a ring?” And opened his hand to a ton of plastic Stitch rings. He quickly dropped them and flipped his hand to show the ring he was hiding on his pinky. “Oh wait, this one is for you, Will you marry me?”
