Historic Yorktown is also yet another national, and state, treasure that should not be passed up. Yorktown was established in 1691 by the Acts for Ports, passed by the General Assembly in Jamestowne. Take a stroll by the Nelson House, the Customhouse, and Grace Church to name a few. You won't be disappointed with the beautiful Tidewater, VA views.
Visit the USS Wisconsin BB-64 in Norfolk, VA and take a self-guided tour. The USS Wisconsin was commissioned in 1944. She served in WWII, the Korean War, and the Gulf War before being decommissioned in 1991. If you've never had the opportunity to climb aboard a battleship, you absolutely cannot miss out on this opportunity.
