If you RSVPed yes but ultimately aren't comfortable attending the wedding due to COVID-19 related concerns, don't sweat it. We wish we could celebrate with you but your health, safety, and comfort level are more important than our wedding day to us. Just give one of us a heads up.
Absolutely! Again, whatever you are comfortable with is perfectly fine in our book.
We have secured a room block at the Hampton Inn in Gloucester. Give them a call and state you are booking for the "Davis-Martin wedding room block." We also recommend checking out Airbnb and VRBO for some local listings if you would like to stay for the entire weekend. Check out Gloucester, Deltaville, and Matthews. If you have any trouble, please contact the bride or groom.
Nope. Wish we had a different answer here.
Wedding casual. Flip flops are highly encouraged and high heels are not permitted. The wedding ceremony and reception are taking place in Maddy's Aunt and Uncle's backyard which is mostly grass. While aeration is good for the grass, we ask that you please skip the heels. Gents, feel free to ditch the tie unless you plan to wear it around your head during the after-party, in which case a tie is highly encouraged.
Yes, there will be parking in the pony pasture adjacent to the property. Just follow the signs. No there is not any pony poop in the pasture.
Even though live streaming is all the rage these days, we simply cannot accommodate a live stream. There is no internet at the venue and you'll be lucky to get 1 bar of cellphone service. We will share pictures from the ceremony and reception with all invited guests regardless of their attendance once the photos are available.
Your presence and willingness to travel to the wedding and celebrate the big day with us is more than we could ever ask for. Gifts are not expected. For those who would like to purchase a gift, please see our registry which includes: a donation to our Walk to End Alzheimer's team in honor of Maddy's mother or a donation to our honeymoon fund.
