Inverness Airport

Inverness Airport is 15 Minutes from Inverness Towne Centre, and only 30 minutes from Achnagairn Castle. If you are flying into Scotland, on the Wednesday or Thursday of the wedding, we suggest you fly here and stay in Inverness Towne Centre.

Edinburgh Airport

For those jumping the pond a bit earlier, we recommend flying into Edinburgh! Start your trip earlier, exploring our favorite city! Renting a car, or taking a train up to Inverness is one of the best ways to see Scotland. Edinburgh Airport is just West of the city, and a cab or train or bus will get you to towne very quickly.

Hail a Cab

Jamie has yet to teach Maddy to drive on the right-hand side of the car, on the left-hand side of the road. Can you? Public transport and cabs are a lot better than your usual American ones, so take advantage! You can call ahead, depending on the city, and they will dispatch cabs to you. Taxis work best in the UK, and you can find a long list here!

Taking a train is scenic and easy! You are able to see the Highlands, Glencoe, and many of Scotland's lochs through different routes. Let us know if you need route recommendations!
